Oldham Sixth Form College is one of only 46 outstanding providers in the UK offering T Levels in 2020!
What are T Levels?
Equivalent to 3 A Levels
A 2 year high quality technical qualification
Have been developed in collaboration with employers
Year 1
You will be in full time academic study at Oldham Sixth Form College. We mix A Level content informed by an industry provider panel to ensure everything we teach is what is happening in industry right now!
Year 2
This is a blend of academic study and industry placement; the placement will be for a minimum of 315 hours and you will be matched with key employers leading the way in your sector.
Will allow successful students to enter directly into employment or progress onto university
Entry Requirements
The entry requirements for T Levels are the same as for A Level study:
5 GCSE passes, grade 4 and above
Passes in GCSE English and GCSE Maths are essential
Ideally, students should also have a GCSE pass in a subject related to the T Level they wish to study
Why choose T Levels?
T Levels will provide the knowledge and experience needed to open the door into skilled employment, further study or a higher apprenticeship.
They are an ideal way to combine the benefits of both practical and theory-based learning. They are aimed at learners who feel they may wish to pursue a Technical Education route into work rather than a traditional academic path.
