Finance Manager

Job Description:

Full time, 36 hrs 40 mins per week, Full Year. Permanent, To commence as soon as possible.

Due to an early retirement within its finance team, the College is looking to recruit a Finance Manager working to the Chief Financial Officer of The Pinnacle Learning Trust.  The post represents an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified/part qualified finance professional to lead a finance team responsible for a broad and varied range of financial activities in a highly academic and successful sixth form college.

This role will have overall responsibility for the management of the College’s finance department and be jointly responsible with the HR Manager for the Trust’s payroll function.  The Finance Manager will also assist the Chief Financial Officer in a wider Trust role.

The successful candidate will be qualified accountant, or part qualified with willingness to continue with their studies.  Self-motivated, you will be expected to be a good team player, articulate with great attention to detail and strong IT skills.


Salary: point 40 – 45 of the Sixth Form College’s Support Staff pay spine, currently £32,485 – £36,685 per annum.
