Monday 22 May 2023 Niamh Oultram, Radiographer, returns to OSFC OSFC alumna, Niamh Oultram visited college recently to inspire current students interested in a career in Radiography. Niamh achieved an incredible A*AA in her results for A Level Chemistry, Biology and History in 2019.

Thursday 15 December 2022 Amnesty - Cosy & Warm Appeal This Autumn, our Amnesty Group has been working tirelessly to raise money to provide as many heated throws as possible in the Oldham community to elderly people who are living in poverty. Our students were passionate about the brutal impact that energy prices rocketing this year has had on elderly people. It is unspeakable that elderly people are faced with the choice of heat or eat”.

Wednesday 30 November 2022 London Psychology Residential 2022 Last week, 25 Psychology students visited London on a three day residential trip. Students were able to attend several museums during their visit including Freud Museum, The Natural History Museum and The British Science Museum. At the Freud Museum they were able to obtain a rare glimpse into the life and thoughts of Sigmund Freud.

Thursday 17 November 2022 Round Up: Sporting Success for OSFC Year 13 student, Libby Hadfield has been playing Rugby Union for Sale Sharks Centre of Excellence. Alongside her A Levels in PE, Psychology and Geography, Libby trains for 4 hours across evenings in the week and plays fixtures at the weekends. Libby played for Littleborough for 4 years prior to this.

Wednesday 28 September 2022 Peter Ash visits OSFC On Wednesday 28 September, Coronation Street Actor, Peter Ash, visited college to speak with Drama and Performing Arts students. Peter has been acting since he left college at the age of 18. He has starred in many television programmes including, Footballer’s Wives and Casualty as well as starring in theatre productions, his most noticeable being the UK Tour of War Horse.
