A new Executive is elected by students every year to represent their interests within College. They meet regularly to discuss cross-college issues and plan student events, have regular meetings with College staff, manage their own budget and play a key role in charity events like Wear It Pink Day, Comic and Sport Relief Days and Fashion and Talent shows – last year’s group raised over £3000 for charity.
In the past, it has overseen the installation of chilled water dispensers for students, played a key role in the designs for learning and social spaces such as The Know and the Business Studies study area, and organised events to mark particular milestones in the College year. Members also represent students on the Governing Body.
If you feel strongly about social, academic or pastoral issues in your working environment, or if you have served on a school council, you could be one of the students elected to represent the interests of the new academic intake in 2018.
