Armistice Day (5)Oldham Sixth Form College fell silent on Armistice Day to pay respects to all those that have lost their lives at war. Honouring the bravery and sacrifice of all those that have fought in military conflict is especially poignant at this time of year on the anniversary to mark the end of the First World War.

Staff and students across the college paid their respects; observing a 2-minute silence at 11am on Wednesday 11 November.

A-level music students Jamie Fletcher and brothers Chris and Ben Warrington also performed the Last Post at locations across the OSFC campus to mark the start and end of the observed silence.
