College staff found many different ways to wear a bandana on Friday 1st March in support of National Brain Tumour Month. Scott Jackson, Senior IT Technician, was diagnosed with a grade 2 brain tumour in 2009 and had a successful operation to remove it. Unfortunately in 2011 it returned - but as a more aggressive grade 3 tumour. This again was removed successfully but Scott still has to have six-monthly MRI scans to make sure it isn’t growing. He had to undergo weeks of radiotherapy and in total has had four operations which together have helped his recovery and his ability to get back to work and a normal life.
