OSFC Students Achieve Outstanding Results Again

Students with their Results
Students and staff are celebrating another year of outstanding results, with the overall pass rate above the national average yet again at 98%. With over 2100 entries for A Level this year, 72% of students achieved high grades A*-C and 46% achieved A*-B grades, equalling last year's excellent performance.
107 A* grades were achieved, a considerable increase on last year, and 43 subjects achieved 100% pass rate, an improvement on last year’s figure.
The Pass Rate on National (BTEC/OCR) courses and Double Applied A Levels is well above the national average – at a perfect 100%.
Jayne Clarke, College Principal, said ‘I am delighted and extremely proud that the hard work of staff and students at the College is once again reflected in the excellent results achieved. We have seen a considerable increase in the number of A* grades awarded this year, marking truly outstanding performances. Students have achieved fantastic results across the whole range of subjects, including success for all eight students holding Oxbridge offers, equalling our best ever, and two students achieving a magnificent five A* grades each.’
