OSFC Berlin Visit

The German leg of our annual exchange with the John Lennon Gymnasium in Berlin took place from 22-29 February. During the trip 17 students from OSFC stayed with their partner families in the city to gain experience of family life, as well as the opportunity to practise their German language skills.

During their time in Berlin, the students visited such sights as the Alexanderplatz, Brandenburg Gate, Charlottenburg Castle, Berlin Cathedral, the GDR Musuem, Potsdamer Platz and the Holocaust Memorial. However the definite highlight for many was a trip to Fassbender and Raush – the world's largest chocolate shop.

As usual, the trip was a huge success and many close Anglo-German friendships were established. Of course it was also perfect preparation for the AS and A Level oral exams which are coming up soon.
