Red Nose Wet Sponge Event
It wasn’t just noses that were red at the College on Friday 18th March, as many students and staff decided to dress in the same colour to celebrate Comic Relief.
There was also a cake sale in the staffroom and on the main College street, collection buckets on every corner and red noses on sale on the day itself and for the previous week. One of the most popular events during the day was the chance to buy a ticket to “sponge” a member of the Senior Management Team - which drew quite a crowd at lunchtime.
A grand total of over £1000 was raised for the charity – which is worth a face full of cold water in anybody’s book!
