Pink Day 2008
Students and staff at the College enjoyed the chance to dress up in pink on 23rd October and raise money for Breast Cancer Care at the same time.
“Dare to Wear it Pink Day” fell during October half term this year so, determined not to miss out, the Student Association organised our fund raising event a week early.
As well as the opportunity to wear some very striking outfits, in every imaginable shade of pink, there were also lots of pink and red balloons on sale which really brightened up a dull, grey day in Oldham. As usual in what has become an annual event, everyone entered in to the spirit of things raising over £1100 for the charity.
