Director of Ryder & Dutton Ltd. Co-opted onto the Governing Body in December 2000. Member of the Finance & General Purposes Committee and Governor Representative on the Health & Safety Executive Group.
John Hodgkinson - Vice-Chair of the Corporation(Independent Governor)
The retired Headteacher of Saddleworth School, co-opted onto the Governing Body in December 2000.
Chair of the Personnel Committee from June 2006, Member of the Audit, Remuneration and Search Committees as well as the Governor Representative on the College’s Local Joint Committee.
Irene Howard(Independent Governor)
Headmistress of a Primary School, elected for a two-year term as a Parent Governor in November 1995. Invited to serve as a co-optee in September 2007 until a suitable vacancy arose. Re-elected from 1 September 2008 as an Independent Governor for a four-year term of office.

Member of Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council and nominated by them to serve on Oldham Sixth Form College Board of Governors in May 2001.
Member of the Audit Committee and the nominated Governor for child matters.
Steve Lowe - Chair of the Corporation(Independent Governor)
Commercial Manager of the NatWest Bank. One of the founder Governors who served on the pre-Incorporation Governing Body from 1991. Elected Vice-Chair of the Corporation in April 2000.
Member of the Finance & General Purposes Committee.
Iftikhar Naweed(Independent Governor)
A local retailer and Treasurer & Member of the Management committee of the Glodwick & Clarksfield Inter-community Forum. Elected to the Board in November 1995 and served as the Community Governor until May 2008 when he was re-elected as an Independent Governor.
Mike Pitt(Independent Governor)
Partner in Pearson-Hinchliffe Solicitors appointed to the Governing Body in November 1994.
Member of the Personnel, Quality, Remuneration and Search Committees.
David Read(Independent Governor)
Partner in Gatley Read, Chartered Accountants & Registered Auditors, elected onto the Governing Body in December 2007 when he joined the Finance & General Purposes Committee.
Elected Chair of the Finance & General Purposes Committee in June 2008.
Peter Treadwell(Independent Governor)
Commercial Manager for the NatWest Bank. Elected initially as a Parent Governor in January 2004 and subsequently re-elected as an Independent Governor from March 2006.

Appointed as Clerk to the Corporation on 1 July 1993 whilst employed by the College in the role of PA to the Principal. With effect from 1 April 2005 re-appointed solely as the Independent Clerk to the Corporation.
