We treat each student as an individual and we'll give you lots of support to ensure that you succeed! Earth Science staff will help you whether it is inside or outside the classroom. You will be given regular homework and subject workshop sessions will be available where you can study in your free periods and receive extra support if you or your tutor feels that you need it. Your performance will be continually assessed and you will be given regular feedback on how you are progressing measured against your target grade.

Arran Residential
For Geographers and Geologists the Isle of Arran needs no introduction. It is one of the finest locations for field work in Europe. Lochranza and the Field Centre are ideally situated to take full advantage of the variety of landscapes that the island has to offer. Arran offers a wealth of notable landscape features from spectacular glacial peaks down to cliffs and caves of the raised coastline.
You will have the opportunity to participate in a residential field trip to the Isle of Arran while you are studying at the College.
