C or above in GCSE Maths is essential and GCSE English
Language is preferable.
About the Course
Why are taxes necessary? Can price rises be controlled? Is it
possible to have more hospitals, schools, social services AND
better defence at the same time? You will consider important
questions and issues such as these when studying Economics.
You will also develop an understanding of basic economic
theories and the ability to apply them to current economic
problems. Topics include: Unemployment, Taxation, Prices,
Wages and International Trade.
