Why Study Sport?
We are one of the largest and most experienced A Level PE Departments in the country, with over 200 students on our courses.
In September 2005 we also introduced OCR Sport National Diploma, which has been extremely successful.
Our team is composed of eight specialist teachers who have experience in examining and moderating, assisting students to understand the theoretical aspects. Practical sports are a major focus. You'll have the opportunity to represent College in a wide variety of sports at local, regional and national level. Over 120 students train and compete on a weekly basis.
Our ethos is to educate the whole person. This is reflected in the quality of teaching and learning, the trusting relationships created and the whole team approach; an invaluable experience for young people.
