Just before the Easter break, students studying Ancient History enjoyed 3 nights away in Rome. Ancient History tutor, Clare Neilands, said:
“We enjoyed a busy schedule which included a trip to the Vatican City, Trajan’s markets, the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, the Colosseum, and a fantastic evening tour where we got to see the Trevi Fountain beautifully lit up. It was great to see the remains of buildings and monuments that we spend so much time studying in class and getting a feel for what life might have been like in Ancient Rome. We covered a huge distance (over 30km) by foot but found time to recover and enjoy plenty of Italian gelato! We had a fantastic time and the students were great ambassadors for the college!”
