Learning Support Assistants (2 posts)

Job Description:

Post 1: Full time, 39 weeks per year. To commence September 2019, fixed term until 18th August 2020.

Post 2: Part time (hours to be negotiated depending on student numbers) 39 weeks per year. To commence September 2019, fixed term until 18th August 2020.

We are looking to recruit people to join a team responsible for the learning support, personal care and welfare of students with special educational needs within the College.

The post holders will work one-to-one with students, mentoring, supporting their learning in the classroom, taking notes and assisting with mobility between lessons as required.  Excellent literacy and interpersonal skills are essential.

Salary:

Salary: Pro-rata of Points 15-21, of the Sixth Form College’s Support Staff pay spine, which is currently £16,500 – £18,400 per annum.
