Tutor for Business Studies and Financial Studies

0.8FTE to full time, to commence 4th March 2019 to cover a period of Maternity Leave until the return of the post holder.

We are seeking to appoint a qualified teacher with excellent subject knowledge and a proven track record of success to teach Business Studies and Financial Studies. This post is suitable both for experienced teachers or newly qualified teachers.

The salary for the above post is points 1-9 on the Sixth Form College teaching pay spine currently £23,396-£38,748 per annum.

Facilities Manager

Full year, Full time, permanent.  Ideally to commence on Monday, 4 March 2019.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Facilities Manager. You will be responsible for both strategic and operational aspects of facilities management across a large estate, managing and coordinating all activities associated with the college’s premises and for developing positive sustainable stakeholder relationships to ensure the successful delivery of all services.

The postholder should have a strong understanding of the legal and financial aspects of estates management required for this role.  You should be a team player, highly organised, flexible and committed to producing work to a high standard.   Excellent interpersonal skills are required and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with College stakeholders and external contractors.

The working hours are 8.00am – 4.20pm Monday to Friday, however flexibility is required for occasional evening and weekend working and you will be required to be on call for emergencies.

Salary: Points 40-43, of the Sixth Form College’s Support Staff pay spine, which is currently £32,163 – £34,561 per annum.
