“to provide the highest quality education for student in Oldham and the local area so that they are equipped to the very best of their abilities to move into Higher Education or employment.”
The Publication Scheme Adopting a publication scheme is a requirement of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. This Act promotes greater openness and accountability across the public sector by requiring all public authorities to make information available through a publication scheme.
The scheme is a document outlining the information to be made available by a public authority either now or in the future. Rather than being a list of individual items, it is a guide to the classes or types of information the institution is making a formal commitment to publish.
The Publication Scheme makes information available to the public under the following categories:
- Who We Are And What We Do
- What We Spend and How We Spend It
- What Our Priorities Are and How We Are Doing
- How We Make Decisions
- Our Policies and Procedures
- Lists and Registers
- The Services We Offer
- Additional Information

Complaints and Appeals
If you are not satisfied with the way we have handled your request or with the reasons we have given for refusing to provide information, you have the right to appeal. Questions, comments or complaints should be sent to the Freedom of Information Manager.
